Who we are

The Revelstoke Rod and Gun Club was formed in the 1950s and incorporated in 1964 as a non-profit organization. We continue to promote the club’s initial values — to improve and restore fish, game, and habitat; to aid in studies in support of conservation plans; and to be examples of good, safe sportsmanship.

Our efforts are dedicated to the preservation of natural resources for generations to come.

Join us at our annual events. We celebrate community, and foster bonds between youth and elders to pass along the values of stewardship learned over many generations.

We strive to:

Conserve and urge the wise use of our natural resources, which includes stable soil, unpolluted water, perpetual forests, vegetation, fish, wildlife, scenic and recreational reservations; to study local resources and co-operate with proper authorities in securing conservation plans and measures for betterment to the benefit of all the community; to support sound conservation; to oppose anti-conservation legislation; to promote good sportsmanship afield, and to conduct ourselves so as to be an example of good and safe sportsmanship; to respect the property rights of others; to pass on to our heirs the joys and privileges of a better outdoors.

In pursuit of enjoying outdoors, the Revelstoke Rod & Gun Club welcomes all who strive to protect it.
